About

K. W. Kenny was born in Miami, but raised in Cincinnati. She has lived abroad, as well as in Oklahoma, Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina during the course of her career. An avid traveler, she has visited 52 countries and counting, crossing five continents in the process. K. W. began writing in 2015 during a trip to Mongolia, where she had gone for some personal reflection and to take a break from the ordinary for a while. The Wolf’s Shadow is her first publication.

When she’s not writing, K. W. demonstrates her disregard for free time as a circus aerialist and avid full distance triathlon competitor. In honor of her Irish heritage, she spent her childhood and teenage years as a competitive Irish Dancer, where she discovered a love of performance. Her circus performance apparatus include silk, trapeze, lyra, and loops, and she is currently working on a fire act. She is a military veteran with multiple deployments, two schnauzers, and calls Florida home – no matter where she is living at the time.
